If you are a current student, this is the page to bookmark and check for updates. For the best results,
This page was updated on December 4.
The final will be 2 hours in length, and will be comprehensive. However, most of the questions will come from the last two chapters of the book. The final will be closed books, closed notes. I will provide all the paper needed. All electronic devices, including calculators, music players, and cell phones, should be stowed away (a basic arithmetic calculator is OK, but won't be needed).
The last worksheet stack is due on the day of the final.
Please bring some form of picture ID to the test (BU ID is OK), as well as all ungraded worksheets given out before the test date. Make sure each worksheet you submit is dated and has your name on it. Please, no notebooks (tear them out). A stapler will be provided.
The homework will be posted on this website. Only the questions with answers (set in green) will be graded, but you should try to solve all of the assigned problems, since the tests will be based on all of the assigned homework, all worksheets, and all examples given in class.
Homework 10 is due December 5. This is the last HW to be collected and graded.
Homework 11 will be neither collected nor graded, but it is not optional. You are expected to complete it as you prepare for the Final test.

You will find all of the worksheet exercises there. The worksheets will be graded wholesale, so to speak: we won't check solutions to individual questions, but we will expect to see the evidence of participating in discussions. As with the homework, you should try to solve all of the assigned problems as you prepare for a test.
The following answers to past tests are posted here as general practice exercises. Do not automatically assume that your tests will be similar in scope or content, as all of that depends on the schedule.
